Tour highlights: Wild game, Scenery and boat ride along the Kazinga Channel.
Day One: Queen Elizabeth national park.
Pick up from Kampala and drive past local communities, winding hills and tea plantations on to fort portal town. Have lunch and continue through the foothills of Rwenzori ranges on to Queen Elizabeth national park. Check in at Mweya Safari lodge, Kasenyi Safari camp, twin lakes safari lodge or Kazinga Channel view resort for overnight stay. B,L,D
Drive time: 7 hours

Day Two: Queen Elizabeth National park.
Drive through Kasenyi, and North Channel game tracks in search of wild game. These include Kobs, lions, elephants and buffaloes. Alternatively you can go for a hot air balloon safari which gives greater views over the scenery and wild game in the park. Afternoon boat ride along the Kazinga channel. Abundant birdlife and wildlife especially elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles and hippos cooling off at the shores will be sighted. Overnight stay at Mweya Safari lodge, Kasenyi Safari camp , twin lakes safari lodge or Kazinga Channel view resort for overnight stay. Mweya lodge. B,L,D

Day Three: Queen Elizabeth - Kampala
Brief game drive to capture anything you missed out on the previous game drive, return to the lodge for a late breakfast and transfer to Kampala with a stop at the equator for photographs/souvenirs.

  • Transportation in a 4WD with a knowledgeable guide  in a land cruiser or minivan
  • Accommodation with meals as indicated in the itinerary
  • Park and vehicle entrance fees
  • Game drive and boat ride as indicated in the itinerary
  • Walk to salt lake if staying at Kasenyi.

Located in Katunguru along Kazinga channel, the facility is 1 KM off Kasese –Mbarara road. All Bandas are spacious and comfortable with ensuite facilities.
